81' 22r 4x4 cold start prob.

Hey People, Please HELP!

I am stumped..... If my truck sits over night or for 10 hrs...it loses spark and will not start unless i double jump it...after the morning jump it starts fine through out the day unless it sits for an extended period of time...now let me run through the gammit of things i have done to correct this problem.....RR plugs, wires, magnetic pickup, cap, rotor, igniter, coil, battery, checked and cleaned all grounds, checked all wires shorts, its not fuel related, I keep comming back to battery, but on load test its great....14.2 external volts and on load down to 12.5 then straight back up! ...

You did everything I could think of. Not being there with you, we just have to take your word for it that you checked all grounds and wires. No way to tell if you missed something from this end, so unless someone else has advice, I'd say to just double check everything...

thanks zach

well I went back and double checked my grounds and wires...have not found any suspects...how ever I figured out that it most deffinitly is a hot cold issue most likely expanssion and contraction of a wire or fuse clip or reley...i tried to start this morning about 45 drgrees f......no luck
so i left it till it was about 70 degrees f and likely warmer inside cab.....fired right up.....well thanks again ...Ill keep hunting!!!!
