loose belt noise but belts are fine?

So on my way to work today I was noticing that I have a belt noise that wasn't there yesterday... sounds almost like a belt slipping or a squeaky pully. I'm supposed to drive my rig down the interstate tomorow... don't need anythin givin out on me... the noise is not super loud but you can hear it over the engine and my exhaust. I've examined the belts... no wobbly pulleys... any ideas? 1985 22re with ac. Does the noise even if the compressor isn't enganged. It sounds like is from right around the fan area?...

Well start by taking each belt off one at a time, starting it up and seeing if the noise is there to determine which belt system it is coming from.

I have a similar noise coming from that area. (85 4Runner 22rec) Thought it was the tensioner pulley. Pressed a new bearing in there. Wasnt it... Now Im pretty sure its my water pump. Thats right behind the fan. Squeels intermittent, but usually right when I shut it off. You might see a little moisture coming from the weep holes on the water pump.
