Scored a sweet set of rims, but questions
Well to make a long story short my cousins buddy gave me a set of the tacoma 6-spoke rims, which will be a big upgrade from my base-model rims
. They ain't in the best of shape, a little bit corroded, but they're straight and will hold air, I also had a few questions about them.
They seem like they will need different lug nuts, because there is no flare like my current rims. Is this true, and if so what are the proper ones called and where can I buy some?
Also, the truck they came off of has auto hubs, but I know some of these rims had center caps with cutouts for the manual hubs. Will the rims work OK without center caps, and where can I get some of the manual hub centers?
Also, on a side note, can a 1998 taco reg cab 4wd clear 31x10.5's stock?

you need the Toyota lugs that are for the alloy rims. they have a washer on them vs the standard acorn-type lug. should be able to get them cheap on ebay or something like that.
31s will fit a tacoma no problem. as for the center caps, just leave them off - they can potentially come off offroad and you'll lose them or damage them. i thought all tacos had auto hubs, but you could always use a hole saw and make a hole.

You need some lugs like these

With a dremel any center cap can be for a manual hub.
Or if you don't want to run the center caps, send me one cause I'm missing one.
You can clear 31 10.5's no issue

Thanks guys, I think I'm just gonna wait til I need new tires (won't be long), and then I'll have 4 spares
Oh and a side note, ADD was optional on tacomas until 2000 (on reg cab and base ext. cab that is)
