Swaping out auto hubs for manuals

I have a pair of stock automatic locking hubs on my 85 Pickup SR5 and I want to put a pair of the Aisin manual hubs that I want to put on. I got the Aisin hubs from my cousin. When I was looking online, I saw that there were conversion kits. I just want to know if I need oe of these kits.
