I have a 94 TPI model 350 in my toyota and the manifolds are cracked causing a horrible exhaust leak and killin the 02 sensors. I have searched and searched and cant find the same manifolds that are on the motor. Anybody else have a similar set up that can point me in the right direction as to which manifolds are correct.


Also did some searching on here and seen that flowtech midlenght headers might work, is this confirmed or what? I dont mind spending the money on them seeming they are around 100 bucks. but dont want to throw money around chasing possibilities

 

im not sure what a TPI model 350 is but i know north west off road makes headers for the small block chevy and fords maby others 2 im not sure but there custom for the toyotas hope this helps

 

i have a 350 in my yota and i run north west off roads headers and they work and fit great have had them for 2 years now and never had a problem

 

it the newer gm 350, an LT model, the difference is the distributor is behind the water pump instead of on top behind intake manifold.

anyways i would look into block huger shorty headers but because every application is different when it comes to motor swaps you really just have to take some measurements of the space they go into then find a pair that will work the NWOR ones will not work for every application because they will not work with my sbf swap and there customer service is terrible and very difficult to get any useful info from.

 

plus the nwor are f#%$ing expensive they wanted almost 600 for 22r headers i cant imagine what they'd want 4 a 350 but its deffinatly quality

 

Whatever you do, don't go w/ AA's, i've got them in mine, they cracked a few months after using them. Exhaust leaks like crazy!

i'm gonna go block huggers once i get the SAS done.

 

If you have angle plug heads, I might recommend stock 87-91 Corvette manifolds. Stainless steel, tubular, good flow, center dump, air injection. They don't tuck in quite as far as block huggers, but pretty close. They might even be emissions legal.

I didn't realize they won't work on a straight plug engine, so I have a leftover set if anyone's interested.

 

I doubt you have the room but Thorley headers were the best I ever put on my SBC.

 

Block huggers are the way to go been running mine over a year no problems
