help with 20r/22r hybrid build

help with 20r/22r hybrid build
i just recently started a 20r/22r hybrid build on my 84 and discovered that the block i have is a 21r block can i still put the 20r head on it with a 22r carb conversion and gain power or what setup would be better with that? any help is great thanks
