i got a 91 sr5 pick up i just pulled my 3.0 out of it and i want something that will push 38s and run good and good on price or any suggestions on rebuild kits whch ones are the best????

 

Are you set on rebuilding, cause that engine is goign to have a hell of a time pushing 38's unless you run like a Steep set of gears, we normally run 5.29's for 35/36's soooo.

Is it on a manual or Auto?

3.4 swap is easiest, and would probably be around the same amount as rebuilding and trying to add power to the 3.0, I'm doing a 302 swap personally in a few months...
