putting power steering on an 84

i own an 84 4x4. without power steering. ive got two ifs steering boxes, and pumps, Ive seen mounting brackets to convert to high steer, can anyone refer me to a write up that would tell me what else i need. and maybe some how to? thanks

You cannot convert to high steer without at least 3" of lift.

To just convert to normal power steering you would need the pump, brackets, hoses, lines, reservoir etc

look here for your FSM and look at the PS system

Thanks, so these ifs boxes are of no use until i lift it? i may just wait. i'm planning to lift it this summer.

the pump and lines u have will work, but the box is different, i put powersteering on my truck, picked up a used bow for $50, figured id let you know incase you decide not to lift it
