I am new to the forum and would appreciate some help. Just got an 81 4x4 with a 22R. Was cleaning up the engine bay and then all guages stopped working. The temp, fuel, oil, and voltage. Found a burnt fuse, replaced it and now the fuse just keeps blowing. Don't know where to start. Help is appreciated.

sounds like you have a loose wire or a short. start inspecting

Yeah, electical stuff sucks, but at least on trucks this old, it's a bit more simple. Trace down the wires. Especially the ones in the engine bay, obviously, since it at least seems like the cleaning of it is what made the problem present itself.
