Ghost Mountain, California

Couple of us Yotatechers decided to go up to Ghost Mountain yesterday. Snowhite, 93yotaSR5, and MKtaco_98 brought their trucks. Dark_fairytales and myself are in the middle of doing maintenence. so we tagged along. I was the camera man, didn't get any videos but took all the pictures I could from the passenger seat of my brother's truck. Pay really close attention to how close quartered it gets on the trails...

its from a manzinita bush. and it could easily own any piece of sheet metal on any vehicle if you rub against it, obviously lol I believe it has thorns as well? I dont remember.

lol yeah. we avoided all kinds of manzanita after we saw what it did to the tacoma.... we went down a trail and ran into about 30-40 feet of the bush... we turned back because the amount of room on the trail was pretty much built for a small bike or quad.

Wow , and I have some property near Redding with lots of this Manzanita brush, I was thinking of going up there with some trucks to make some trails to the creek , but seeing what it does to the trucks forget about that ..no way jose!

Great pics man , next time you guys go out send me an email or something ..

My truck is down right now (doing a valve adjustment, had to order a shim) But I may be able to go up there ..

thanks for the pics.

it sucked what happened to taco's tacoma, we were all surprized. The trails were not supose to be tough in any way and taco got some damage the just should not have happened. all in all it was a good relaxing day. I hope the tacoma looks supreme condition again. we should plan another day tip soon.
