v6 3vze oil pan gasket?

hey guys, im working on a friends auto. v6 3vze 4runner and was wondering Everything i needed to do, so i can drop the pan.?

No, there is no oil pan gasket for the V6. Use Form In Place Gasket (FIPG) material. You can pick it up from a Toyota dealership or use Permatex Right Stuff http://www.permatex.com/products/Aut...sket_Maker.htm

Search on here for dropping the pan. I believe the easiest way is to drop the front diff. I did mine while the engine was out on an engine stand during my swap, so that is a pretty easy way, if you want to go to all the trouble of pulling it.

Yeah aside from pulling the engine the only way to get the oil pan off is to drop the diff and that's a pita lol. I had a hard time putting it back in cause I was by myself and only had one small jack lol. If I was to do it again I would just pull the engine and stick it on a stand.

orrrr you could get a 4"-6" suspension lift so you don't have to do anything but unbolt the pan and pull it out..LMAO totally kidding.

and Copenhagen...you're way that chilton's says is correct
