85' head and timing chain

Im pretty sure i just blew the head on my 85 22r and could use some advice since iv never really pulled off a job like this before-

I was wondering since im gonna have the thing pulled apart i might as well do the timing chain as well? Also, when i do the head do i need to resurface the heads and re-seat the valves before i put it all back together??
if i have the heads done professionally by a shop will i need any special tools to put it all back together??

any help would be great, Aloha!

Have the head pressure tested and do have the head resurfaced if it checks out ok.A good machine shop will check it completely. No special tools needed, just a good torque wrench to torque the head. For the little extra time and cost do the chain.Google for info it is great,it if all comes together with no flaws and it should send me a pineapple.Any questions pm me I am sure my wife will take me to your island for a service call. She sends her love..
