shakin knockin rockin and not rollin
hey i was headed down south to see some family when i noticed my truck had a little more than the typical 22r vibration, it almost felt like speed wobble but i only got it i my low end like 900-2100 so i pulled over checked the oil aded some then it ran like a champ for about tn minutes then strated up again and this time i had to double clutch to keep it goin cuz as soon as i pushed the cluch in at all it could be at four grand and just drop dead at forty five so i turned around and limped home and the whole way home it sounded like i could have a rod knockin but i just rebuilt the engine two months ago and havent put more than 2000 miles on it. im in the proses of pulling the trans to inspect the clutch and pressure plate, ive jacked up the rear end and the dif seems to be spinning freely. i swear this truck breaks everyother weekend, i guess thats what you get with a free truck
. oh sorry btw its an 87 standard cab, ifs, 22r with a 5-speed. any help would be apriciated

thnx for the reply, sorry been busy between school work and the truck. i dropped the tranny and the pressure plate looked worn but not bad, the clutch was toast and the throw-out bearing was beat to hell so i just went down and bought a clutch kit to replace it all. but i mounted the bell housing and starter back up to the engine to see if it was the tranny or the engin makin the noise the noise persisted and almost sounded louder so now im trying to get my hoist back to pull the engine. frankly the engines tired, somethings wrong on a fresh, by the book, rebuild, and its my daily driver so i thikn for now im gonna buy a remanned angine and tear into this one later
