So is there any way to use the factory hood scoop for air intake??..can it be funtional...

 

i thought bout this a while back but talked to alot of ppl with mixed feelings...
From what i can tell it can be done but its a pain bc u would have to figure out a system that would be able to filter out the water that enters the scoop so that it doesnt mess up the intake and engine overall.

 

You would be the first I do believe....check t4r.org also.

Many have had same thought but yet to see it accomplished.

 

Alot of work for a questionable gain;alot of people open it up thinking it will help cool the intake temps but most discover you just end up with a dirty engine and a dirty engine runs hotter so most don't even bother.
