Do 2wd & 4wd pickups have same bed??

I am sure this is a stupid question, but....I have a 1993 ext cab sr5 4x4 pickup with a pretty beat up bed. I am fixing the truck up slowly and found a 1989 2wd regular cab pickup that is being parted out with a good bed on it. Would the bed from these two trucks be interchangeable?

Thanks for the help,

Steve

I don't think the beds will be a direct swap, but not because one's off a 2wd truck, the distance from the back of the cab to the rear wheels is different between reg and ex cabs iirc, which means the bed would require modification.

Also I -think- that the beds for 4wd and 2wd trucks are essentially the same (depending upon wheelbase, cab, etc), the only major difference being the size of the wheel wells, which are larger for 4wd beds, which may cause some issues swapping a 2wd bed onto a 4wd truck (the other way around wouldn't matter).

They are the same. I'll take a pic of my 2wd next to my brothers 4wd side x side if anyone would like?

Mine is regular cab and his is extended. I could also measure the length too!

If regular means single cab (im from Australia) then the tubs are different length wise. From longest to shortest....single,spacey (extracab), dual cab, they are not interchangeable in any way as the chassis and tub mounts are different too. Not to mention the wheel flairs which was said above.
