Question 89 3.0 V6 2wd unidentified Bracket?? Please Help

Well I did a tune up a little while back on my truck, plugs, wires, fuel filter, and cleaned the EGR valve/and tubes. When putting the EGR assembly back together I noticed this bracket and don't see an obvious purpose for it.

Can someone take a picture of the passenger side of their engine or at least tell me what the bracket is for? Right now it isn't supporting anything and I'm not sure what was ever there? My truck has some cheesy after market cruise control that has never worked the whole time I've had the truck (10+ years). I'm thinking the bracket had something to do with the cruise control but don't know? I've included a few pics. It is the black bracket in the center of the pictures directly under where the EGR tube goes into the intake manifold. The bracket is bolted to the head with a single bolt.

IDEAS?

It is an intake support bracket....

Remove the nut off the stud next to it in this picture, and slide it over and reinstall the nut...

It should be bolted to the block at the bottom....

Yep, correct. You do want to have that bracket to support the weight of the plenum.
