94 4runner and dragging tire

94 4runner and dragging tire
Can anyone tell me why my back passenger tire would drag only in 4H or 4L. I put it in 4h or 4L and the 4x4 light comes on and I get about 3 feet and the tire locks up. Not sure where to start.
