Does anyone here surf?

I ride a 6'8" Timmy Patterson and a 7'2" Chris Birch funboard and my favorite trip has been to Scorpion Bay where I spent two weeks and had a blast. My dream trip is to go to Fiji for a month and just surf my brains out. I've spent a lot of time in Baja but I haven't been to any of the big name breaks abroad (yet).

I would say no, even though I wish I did. Lived in Hawaii til I was 8, went a couple times, started learning the basics. Then never went again til I was 18. Froze my butt so bad in the Washington water, I never went again. I would like to go again when I go back to Hawaii this November. If you have to wear a 3/4/5 suit with booties, gloves and hood, its just not the same.

Dont own a board, usually borrow one from a buddy. Ive only surfed in one place, Tofino B.C. The waves are usually on the smaller side but it blows up once in a while and gets good. Love to try somewhere with some bigger surf. And we use wet suits, gloves, boots and hoods if its really cold. Just gota have a few before and pee your pants once you get out in the water to warm things up

yep just got back from a quick surf before work. Now im sitting at work encrusted in salt. I live in nw Florida on the gulf coast so its not the best surf but you get what you can. I have a 5'8 thruster for when it gets good/big and a 5'10 quad fish(i love this board). ive taken a few trips to socal and Hawaii but nothing has been as good as a huricane swell in my home town.

My friend and I usually surf dawn patrol alone. Last Sunday he brought two friends who both grew up in St. Augustine. They said the surf can get pretty good there as well.

One guy looks at my board and asks where I got it. I told him I just borrowed it for a couple of months while my friend is in Egypt. He says that the shaper is from St. Augustine and is a friend of his (the Birch funboard). Small world.

Yeah I surf. Usually I'll use the 6'0". All over San Diego is usually alright, but my favorite spots are off the peninsula.

Been surfing since 1966 - My truck is simply a means to the end...

Though I gave up shortboards years ago and ride longboards (again)

Here I am with my first Toy 4x4

Yeah, moved up here for work and flying. Love it, but I'm moving back in fall. 4 years was enough for a while. I wear a drysuit most of the year. Lots of surf spots, no crowds, tons of strange looks. Rode the Bore Tide 3 times this year, that was an incredible experience.

I did surf when I lived in Huntington Beach. Moved to Baltimore last year for work. No break in the inner harbor (ha), plus who wants to get in that nasty water. Can't wait to get back, miss the waves.

Surf in Santa Cruz, it's been really crowded this year though... Got a 6'2" fish and a 8'6" long board. Both Pearson Arrows.
