Thumbs up Piaa....

... NOT lights... wipers! anyone seen these? i like the carbon fiber ones, they would go really well with one of Jason B's carbon fiber dash kits, pedals, and shift knob i think.
possibly another cheap + nice looking mod...

Yeah, I've been runnig them for about a year now. They are great. I could use a new set though - they get plenty of use here in the NW. I have the carbon fiber ones. I hope to find some refills soon.

Yeah I just got mine from PP a few days ago, it had been raining all week and as soon as I got them it stoped and hasn't rained since, the one time I actually want it to it doesn't, go figure. So I'm looking forward to some of the wet days ahead wanting to see the PIAA difference.
Hey Gene do you run a PIAA blade on the rear wiper as well? I got the smallest one they make(15") and I can't figure out how to make it work on the back set-up w/ the rest bar, help me out if you can b4 I have to send it back.

No, I didn't get anything for the rear. I got mine directly from PIAA (at no cost) before they hit the market with them. They wanted me to check them out and offer feedback. At that time, and I guess it is still the case, they did not have anything for the rear. I would be interested in some for the rear as I prefer to have a match set all the way around.

Performance Products' website shows a 17" blade. Are both blades 17" for the 4Runner? I am also wondering if the carbon fiber will look weird since I don't have anything else carbon fiber on the truck. My color is Thunder Cloud, so maybe the carbon fiber would go nice.

Any ideas?

I dunno I'm running the 16" blades myself, that is what the guy at PP pulled up as my size for a 96', can't imagine they chaged the size by one inch for a 2K2. I would say stick w/ the black, I dunno I'm just kinda partial to the stock crisp clean look, I have never really been a big fan of carbon fiber in the first place, okay I'm gona shut up now b4 I loose friends over talking anti carbon fiber.

I think the going price is about $17 per blade. Also, both PP's website and Tire Rack's site seem to be selling 17" for my 2002 4Runner.
