1st gen Royal Blue 4unner availability?

Hey cats. BigBluePile and I jokingly started a RB4R group (Royal Blue 4 Runners) and after all the laughing was done I realized that I haven't seen another one anywhere. I started my search for this exact 1st gen in this exact color (blue outside, gray inside) and found it pretty quickly. Heck I figured they were everywhere.

Does anyone know if this was a paint scheme that just didn't sell? Or some dealer only option?

Just trying to find out if we are special.

What kind of special?

I found one right before I bought my current one. She was selling for 1500 with a clutch going out. She must have received a ton of calls, she wouldn't return my calls after she agreed to sell it to me and she pulled the ad. I saw it up a month later for 2500, with no mention of a new clutch. Thats my story, hope you've enjoyed it. Tell your friends.

How did I know you would be the first to reply?

I'd say I'm sorry you didn't get that one but your rig is so clean that it makes me cry little blue tears of joy. You did well buying yours.

At least I didn't make your thread weird, right?

I think I made out ok. When the lady handed me the stack of receipts, and I opened it and saw the original window sticker, I handed over the cash.

And Logan could have responded first, your little RB buddy.

Anywho, I've never seen a 'Runner that has the same color AND has the same body/hood decals. However, there is a truck here on the island that DOES match excactly to mine.

I haven't seen anyone with my half pressure washed off, part primer hood decal I got going. It'll be awhile before I can get it repainted though. Its kinda like the back of your head, don't really care how it looks, I can't see it whether I got a haircut or not.

Yes 31's are as big as I'll go. I almost screamed tonight though since there is a 4.88 IFS diff for sale in the classifieds for 200$ plus shipping.... WITH AN AUSSIE! Dang it!

I already agreed to buy the 4.56 and I won't back out on a deal with a YT member. It's like sleeping with your best friends sister..... makes the relationship harder.

HAHAHAHA. Anyone running 4.88s and 31's with a 5 speed? I always think its gonna be WAAAAY overgeared on the highway but really its only a couple hundred rpms.

And my buddy got caught doing a coworkers sister years ago. They are now married.

Some folks do and I would also if I had not already agreed to the sale. The benefit is off road. You have a little better crawl ratio. Then of course there is the option to go with 33's later but that opens up another can of worms.

edit: I got caught doing a coworkers wife years ago. They are now divorced.

edit again: I was joking about the wife thing.

Dang, I guess we DO wander off topic a little. Can I get a sign that just says SPAM! I like Spam.

Well its being rebuilt now so its pretty much sitting out of the sun until i get the new motor in. Trust me the shine will disappear once i get it back on the road. what exactly are these qualifications for the ruling? haha
