My ABS light is on and speedo have suddenly stopped working. This is after two night ago when I hard wired a CB to my bat.

Things I have checked so far...
ABS sensors on the hubs(just visually to see if they are plugged in)
brake fluid
ABS fuse under hood
Plug on side of tranny for speedo

Any ideas???

 

Now I am getting a CEL with a OB2 code of P0500 http://www.obd-codes.com/p0500

Any chance you slice or pulled apart the wire for your speed sensor while looking for a power lead for your CB?

 

I figured it out while trying to explain it to my girlfriend (haha) I am using a add-a-fuse f tapped into the 12v fuse block under the dash for "switched" power to light a gauge. I tapped the ECU fuse spot instead of the cig light spot.

I just drove it and everything is back to how it should be. Yeah I am dumb....
