How do I get to the blower resistor?

My '89's blower two lower speeds are inop. I suppose its a resistor needs to be replaced. I looked in my factory manual and a Haynes manual, and I didn't see anything on this. Am I just overlooking something obvious? Thanks, Jim

look right under the dash on the passenger side

unplug this, remove the two screws on either side, and the resister will fall in your hand
