I have a brand new set of Advance Adapters Chevy V8/V6 bolt on adapters with new OEM engine side mounts. For '86+ IFS trucks with a 22R.

Never used. I went with weld-on mounts instead.

PM me if you're interested.

What kind of headers will work best in a 80' with a 86' chevy 350? Do I gotta get hugger headers? If so, what brand?

the shorty block huggers are the only ones ive seen used. any brand will work. personally, i'd get the cheapest ones i could find. they're all pretty much the same, but the mfg website will (should) list specs on the flange thickness and thickness of the tubing.

I would just make my own if i were you. I have an 83 yota pickup and I welded 3/8" plate rectangles to the frame where the 22R motor mounts used to bolt to. Then, I just bolted the chevy mounts onto the plate, and wola!

I have talked to NWOR a couple times. Really bad customer service IMO. And their stuff is expensive too.

Advanceadapters has helped me a BUNCH. Even when it means losing some of the money i would be paying. They have told me ways around buying their stuff, and other parts that i can use instead. And they have quality products that arnt crazy expensive.

Keep an eye out on craigslist too. There is usually someone parting a truck with a v8 every couple months.
