Just going the lazy route, do any of you know if a standard 97 T100 with the 3.4 have an EGR valve? I've heard some T100's have them and some don't and I don't know what causes one to have it and one to not have it.

 

It depends on where the truck was built fer...

I believe the ones headed to California had the EGR setup. Mine doesn't have one as it was set to go to Texas... Not too sure about the Canadian ones...

 

Mine was sold in Ga. and has stayed on the east coast. It's also a 5 speed.

 

If you look on the driver's side exhaust manifold, you should see where the EGR would've tapped off of it. Most likely you don't have an EGR setup...
