90 4runner bad idle after valve cover gasket replaced

So I just did the valve cover gasket that is under the air intake. Before i took intake off with all the hoses the truck ran awsome. when I put it all back together it idles like it has a lumpy camp in it and almost stalls. but when i brink up the rpm its runs fine or when i am driving it. I was thinking that it might be the egr. But if anyone has had similar issues and fixed it i would love to know what you did. I am sure I put all the hoses and line back in the right spots. And i reused the intake gasket.

Any sugestions would be great
Thanks

its a vacuum leak. take another look at all those hoses. two might be mixed up or one might be disconnected. this happens to me all the time, i always forget one of the small ones or the passanger side PCV on the valve cover.

If you have all vacuum hoses hooked up correct, I'd say you probably have an intake leak.

as long as that gasket wasn't broken it shouldn't have any major leaks, but you really sould have bought a new one for $12.

For an intake manifold gasket?
That cannot be right.....that must be for the set, try and get just the one you disconnected.

yeah but what they're trying to sell him is the entire intake gasket set i think. cause thats usually $80 at autozone or any of the CSK owned stores. but the phlenum gasket its self sould be less than $15.

How hard is this to replace? I think mine is leaking from the back and I would obviously like to stop the leak...
