*** Bittersweet Front 1.5" lift. ***

Hey everyone,

Well I finally got around to installing my front Bilstein HD's this evening that I've had since mid April. FOR SOME REASON, I now have 1.5" of lift in the front? Whats that all about?

I'm not against a small lift, I've actually been looking over the toytec and sonoran steel lifts. But....

My runner is draggin' ass worse than a fat midget! I already have the HD's in the rear, but they seemed to be factory hieght!

I compared my first new shock to the old setup, and they matched OEM to Bilstein. My springs are seated correctly on the bottom collars, and the top shock bolt is tight.

WTF?

Are you sure you don't have the aluminum collars installed upside down? It is an easy mistake to make....I speak from experience!

Yup - shocks should not give you actual lift like that...

Think of how much plumbing you could get done with that crack.

yea I know. I tried to get rid of it using DAP Big Crack Filler, but it still wasn't sufficient. All it did was make me really cranky. Just like a two head croc-a-gator.

Ahh! Don't use that, try some JB Weld, grind it flat.
