another clutch pedal bracket issue

I haven't really gotten a chance to look into this yet, however I thought i would do some research and possibly help out someone else at the same time. I put in a new clutch after a rebuild and now I am having a hard time getting into gear and reverse is also grinding like the clutch is not disengaging all the way.

Is it possible that the new clutch just requires an adjustment of the rod on the pedal?

If the bracket is broke like many others, I may go to a pick a part to get one. which years will work for my 87. also is this the same bracket the brake peal is attached to? Can i pull the bracket from an automatic is it the same?

Is this the part number and photo of the bracket ? #47123 55106-89122 Bracket, BRAKE PEDAL

Mine is broke and I about got it out last night. I'm going to get some to weld it up and try reinforcing it for me.

ok doesn't look like it's the bracket this time.

Just went out and played with the adjustment, I don't even think I turned it tighter even a half turn, and it seems to be disengaging correctly now. No gear grinding in reverse and goes into gear as smooth as expected on original worn shifter bushings lol.

I will keep up to date to see if this is solved.

looks good from what i can tell, drove it a little with no issues in shifting. Might have to get those bushings and stuff from Marlin though. just don't know which ones i would need.
