Cooling Issues

OK. got to go out for the first time in the snow with my "new" Toy. A little background, 1983 long box, 22re with a 32/36 and an Offy, NWOR header, A340F with aftermarket shifter and tranny cooler mounted lower front of radiator, 3" lift, 4.88's locker in rear only. 35x12.50's. Ran great had a good time but.................
I put on a electric fan this summer which worked great, but when I got in the snow and start working it all, the water temp get a little too warm, so I adjust the fan thermostat, then when I'm not workin it it runs too cool. So I need to balance this somehow not sure what way to go.
Thinking of moving the trans cooler from in front of radiator before I go out next weekend to see what that does, also considering a smaller secondary electric fan set at a higher temp.
Thoughts?
