That's awesome! Are there any large dents? The body looks great, it just needs some make-up to make her look pretty.

Well went and picked up the truck today. Its gonna suck being broke for the next 2 weeks. I cant believe how beautiful this truck is, the interior is screwed, all the gauges are takin out of the dash but I have all the stuff from a parts truck. There is virtually no rust the frame has very light surface rust. Me growing up in the Great Northwest, this is a rare find for me. There is no motor or tranny but I have a good runnin 22r and w56 and transfre case that is dieing to be put in it. Here soon I will start my build thread. I will take pictures of it tomorrow.

You can find some great rust free rigs here in the SW. I got my rust free '83 for $500. The only difference is mine didn't require any work to get it on the road. Of course I've put several thousand dollars into upgrades. Good luck with your project!

Sorry for the delay in pics but here is how she sits now. I will post up pics that I took of the interior and everything but that will come a little later as they are on my Dads camera. But heres a few of how she is comin along.

Paint is coming this summer...

Dual transfer cases and dropped a w56 in her

Made some door panels for it out of aluminum. Im gonna take some scotch brite on a die grinder and give it a machined look later on. Working on building my dash out of aluminum at the moment.

After installing the w56 and dual cases had to fab up my own crossmember and mounts.

Theres alot more work done to it and I will post up pics as I get time. I work alot, Im a single Daddy with a 2 yr old little girl. I dont get much time to my truck.

Amazing work! Keep those pictures coming! Seems like with your skill that truck may rival James Dean's blue 4runner in the clean cut department!

Oh and just ordered a lift, a header, new bushings, adjustable drag link, and some longer brake lines lastnight. Will keep you updated on the install when I get them. Next paycheck will be rock sliders and bumper. I will make some measurements for my front driveline tonight and start that build here soon as well.

I know its on here somewhere but I cant find it, Because honostly the search function blows on yotatech and google isnt really bringing anything up. So I guess ill just ask real quick. I ordered my 4 inch lift, plan on flipping the ball to save some money I got an adjustable drag link as well. My question is how high can you go without having to go cross over steering? can I just installs my 4 inch lift and flip the ball and be okay? And what will happen when I put longer shackles on it will I have to go cross over then? If I have to go crossover I guess I will start building it this week and mabey build full hydro steering while Im at it... Thx guys...
