Yes when they are a 285/75r16. When they are a 17" rim you get the extra inch of height. The 285 is the width.

Do you mean 285x70r17's (which is a 33"x11.2")? 285x75r17's do exist (only Nitto has them), 33.8" diameter.

I ended up using custom .75" spacers, just so you know 1.25" spacers may space it out a good bit considering you have no fender flares The SpiderTrax spacers are very nice though.

my front is like 1" taller than the rear, and yes there getting painted flat black, and yes there 33.8 exactly. sticker on the tires said 34's but what ever close enough.
mastacox 1.25" prob is alittle to much, do you custom make those spacers or buy them?
