I am in the process of buying a 1989 4runner. I don't don't have the dough to put a full lift kit on it yet, but do want to raise up the rear 2" or what ever to remove the "saggy" look. Who makes the best kit for this, or what do you do to correct the problem?

I was happy with Old Man Emu for my old 97 4runner. The rear suspension is similar.

Thanks. Is it really $800? Seems like this fix should be $300-400 at most.

 

Search the ZUK coil mod. lots of people have had success with this. If I still had my p/u or '88 4runner, I would have done this mod.It can be done for under $150 probably. Other options are re-arching the leave pack, longer shackles, lift blocks or AALs.
