96 4runner new paint

Hey guys. I just bought a 96 4runner a couple of weeks ago and have been spending a lot of time on here. Figured I would post a thread to show off the toyota a bit. The hood and roof were in rough shape so I sanded what little clear coat was still intact in those areas down to the base coat and reprimed. The sides and back just got wet sanded. Then everything got resprayed with base/clear. Also needed a new rear bumper from a rear end that the PO had. I decided after trying for a week and a half to find color codes for the bumpers and trim just to paint most everything the same as the body color (751 emerald pearl) The middle of the grill I painted some charcoal metallic that I had on hand and then cleared it as well. I think it looks great here are some pictures....

It is a 2wd 4runner but I want to get it up in the air a little. Currently the rear bumpstops are only like 1.5" away from bottoming out. Makes bumps in the road feel horrible. I am thinking of going with a sonoran steel 3.0 kit. Still looking at all the options though... Anyway thanks for looking.

Very nice. Id be interested in the type of gun you used to spray, and any techniques you used?

The paint is Nason. The paint laid down very nice. I never sanded and buffed the clear and there is very minimal orange peel. Did wash it though and hand buff it. I have seen new cars with much worse orange peel but I guess thats normal really. Anyway back on topic... used a Harbour Freight gun. Those things can shoot if you feed 'em clean air. My uncle actually has a really nice gun but it needs to be rebuilt so the el cheapo from HF got the nod on this project. LOL Thats all I can think of....

thanks
