Post ac idle up problem

Hey Guys, before I get flamed for not searching, I've been searching for the past week and a half. hahah shoulda been studying.

Right-o, I have an interesting problem. I noticed that my throttle would stick when the truck wasn't in use, and the regular idle adjustment screw had no effect on the idle speed. Also what still plauges me today is the ac doesn't idle up it idles down!

Fast forward many searches and whatnot I decide to clean the throttle body. I mean hey, the thing hasn't been cleaned in 20 years. I attempted to pull but got stopped by the coolant hose on the side of the TB. I did get it off enough to clean it and all the nooks and crannies and holes. Installed everything and fire it up. No more sticky throttle and reg idle adjustment works!

I try the ac and it idles down ~200 some rpm. Damn. I clean all the vacuum ports (one that stood out was the hose that goes from the Tb to the PS pump. That thing was clogged!) and the actual idle screw. Still no difference.

So what do you guys think is the problem? Possible VSV malfunction?

Thanks for the imput!

is the compressor actually engaging when you turn on the a/c?
if so, i would say it is probably normal, try unhooking the compressor, and see how much the rpm rises.
