I figured I would chime in with another place to consider setting up an Aux power setup.

So, I removed all of this:


I made this:


And Cut a little out of here:


Used some of this:


Made a few of these:


Mounted a bunch of goods like this:


Connected it all to one of these:


And it all tucks away cleanly like this:


And there you go.

The factory jack really does little good with a lift and 33's so I like to use these areas for electrical work instead. It's the same move I did on DO's 05 Tacoma when they swapped the axle.

The other nice part about it being central to the car is that the wire runs are relatively short for both the front or rear of the Runner.

Get a heat gun, shrink tube, soldering iron, wire wrap and zip ties. Leave the electrical tape and wire nuts alone for these kinds of installs and you'll end up with a pretty clean (and a headache-free) setup for your rig.
