rear speakers in 89' runner

I put in 6.5 in the doors custom I would like to do the same in the back just under the rear topper windows where those boxes it like an empty space to put belongings....

My question is how would it sound in these boxes???

I have a set up closer to the front doors, high enough the back seats don't hit em when you move them forward. Sounds fine, they were cheap pioneers. I would at least get the waterproof baffles from crutchfield. It will keep them from getting wet and keep it from reverberating inside the panels.
