96+ Tacoma/4Runner manual hub conversion
#2
Hello Deathrunner.
I am new to posting messages on Yotatech so excuse me for taking your time but I have a question I thought you might be able to answer regarding an old post of yours on manual hub conversion for older Tacoma’s and 4runners.
I have a 2000 4runner (4wd 3.4L has abs) and found a used manual hub conversion and I was wondering what the difference between the Tacoma and 4runner conversions were. I have no idea if what I have found it from a Tacoma or 4runner. Any help much appreciated.
Thanks

4Runners never had manaul hubs, so if its manual hubs it has to be from a Tacoma. They also never made Manual hubs with ABS, so if you wish to retain your ABS and larger brakes, you will have to do some press work and combine parts from the Manual hub spindle and your ABS spindle.
