Its worth nothing you should just drop it off at my house LOL JK

at least a few hundred if it had some problems more if its a good runner with good compression and no smoke or noise. is it your motor do you know the history on it?

i am going to buy it from a dude, he said it ran, but other then that doesnt know much, he had it as a just in case engine for his truck, can a guy check the compression of the cylinders by just hand turning the crank shaft (with the compression tester)?

its worth the price of a core then $300OBO

I have never been successful doing a compression check without using the starter motor but even then you dont know if its a smoker or a knocker.......any used motor bought off "a guy" is a gamble as is and no gaurantees I have bought used motors off CL many times and its gone both ways good motors and crap motors roll the dice

thats true, i think i will buy it and see what i can get out of it, if it has the starter on it could i possible hook that up to a 12 volt battery to crank it over to see the compression a little better then using the hand method which is true for most things in life right
