Gas Hand Waving Like A Fool!

My gas gauge is waving up and down like crazy! After the fuel settles, the needle stops waving and gives an accurate reading.

Could it be the baffles are broken down?
OR
Could it be the sender went bad?

Sometimes when the sending unit is going bad it can cause the gauge to bounce around.

My old 22re did that for a little while, All you gotta do is buy another sending unit, and you should be golden.
