new block in truck doesnt run good

I just put a new long block into my truck. It ran fine for a little then when driving down the road it felt like the clutch was slipping or something was catching. i went and checked the brakes hubs didn't find anything then i checked all the vacuum lines and electrical connections all are good then i decided to replace the spark plugs and distributor cap it solved the problem for a little but now the problem is back.

re-torque your rear well all your head bolts to make sure they are at spec.

Is it a brand new long block or a rebuild? Did the long block come with a warranty/guarantee?
