Need some advice on new tires

I recently bought a new pickup that came with 33x12.5 mickey thompsons on 15x10 rims. I do not need mud tires but the truck itself is CLEAN and having nice wheels that i didn't need wasn't a deal breaker for me so i bought the truck.

i have since put in 4.88s to get some power back. now eventually i would like to buy some new tires, probably an AT that would be well suited for highway, rain and snow. i don't mind the 33 inch diameter but i definitely want something thinner and part of the problem is that i have 10 inch rims and i don't want to buy new rims and tires--that's out of the question. now i think a 10.5 tire would not be good on a 10 inch rim so that pretty much leaves me with 11.5. the tires that i have now are not good in the rain and i want to be able to drive more aggressively in the rain and snow. on my last truck i had revos which were good and 9.5 inch swampers which i liked a lot in the snow. is 32x11.5 my only option? any recommendations?

Cooper STT, BF Goodrich A/T, Kumho A/T as well as some others come in the 32x11.5x15 flavor.

I wouldnt stick anything less than a 11.5 wide tire on your 10 inch wheels.

The Kumhos are only $106 a piece...not bad

wait really your mud tires are good in the snow. I heard that they were bad because there are too many flat spaces on the tire

they are bad in the rain and snow because they are so damn fat and it feels like you're on a hovercraft and you really need to drive carefully.

why exactly would a 10.5 tire not work well on a 10 inch rim? i think my ideal size would be 33x10.5.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the width doesn't refer to the tire's tread width, but from sidewall to sidewall on a certain width wheel (measuring width rim). So a 10.5" would look a little stretched on a 10" wheel.
