My beach truck made its last trip to the inlet last wednesday. Lower A arm rusted through. Barely got it home, with one wheel pointed at 10 oclock and the other at 1.

Lucky for me, karma provided me another. I went on Craigslist and the search turned up.....

First one I opened, I bought the next morning five minutes from my office.

Same color.

I paid 850 ten years ago to get it with 185 k on it.

This new one has 138 k. But I had to give 875....

(I promise I searched a bit first)

Can I swap the four speed manual out of my old one for the auto trans in the new one when I want to, later?

Old is an 88 22 r carb, short bed manual.

New is an 88 22 re injected, lond bed auto....

Is it a ton of work to swap the pedals and the stuff?

Any help will be greatly appreciated, don't need the techy stuff right now, just an indication its doable.

Welcome, to the site, Everything from your 88 manual truck will swap over to your new truck, its not hard to do, just time consuming. We did an auto to manual swap on my 86 4Runner and it wasn`t hard to do.
