In search of an honest mechanic in or around Alexandria Virginia that can work on my 4-Runner. Just bought a 1999 4-runner with 86k. It's had a couple of minor issues already, but every time I take it to the shop I feel like I'm getting ripped off. Let me know if you all know of anyone. Thanks!

I don't know any near Alexandria, but I do recommend the guys over at High Tech Auto & Truck in Chantilly, VA. They have helped me out a number of times.

 

Thanks Ian, I tried last weekend to sign up with the Va 4ROC, but the registration page wasn't working. Any ideas when it will be up?

 

I'm rebuilding it now, there is some leftover code from MSFrontpage that is screqwing up the submission, just trying to send a sucessful post to myself first.

In the meantime, cut and paste the form into an email, fill it in and send with a picture. I can probably add you in a few days...

 

Update: The reg page is up, I just made it an email pre-filled with form stuff.

Did you find your mechanic in Alexandria? I now have sevral clients there and would consider dropping the truck off during the day if it comes up...
