I have reviewed some old threads with suggestions ranging from the Dealer ($200 yikes), making your own (not a viable option for me), to stainless steel (I cant find), to Napa (I tried a parts store, but they couldnt find the part. Does anyone have any recent info on this? A part number of a solid product would be great. I really dont want something that will whittle away to nothing like these OEMs again. Thanks for any help!

Screw NAPA. The WabFab endlinks are STOUT!!! A+ customer service, too. Here they are installed on my old 4Runner. You're not going to break these. The OEM ones look like a couple of churro's compared to the WabFab's. (No, I don't work for WabFab. Just a satisfied customer).

i have been buying mine at a parts store here in canada for i think $8 a piece! i have broken about 4 of them so far, but for 8 bucks and 10 minute install im laughin! I think they are made by buck arnley or something like that...the wabfab ones look like wayyyy better quality, those bushings scream long life, but i dont have $135 for those things, but i guess if i keep goin at this pace of breaking them, i will have spent the same amount on these cheap ones.

 

Wabbit's cost less for the set than the dealer wants here per side....

I broke my rear swaybar completely off and broke 3 endlinks up front, so I run with no swaybars.

 

I blew an endlink and somehow even the bracket that holds the swaybar to the frame. I chucked the entire front swaybar in the trash. I'll have to remove the rear one pretty soon probably, its starting to show signs of breakage.

I didn't even notice a difference with the front swaybar on or off so I don't really see the point of them unless you get some super stout ones. 4Runner sway bars are barely any bigger than the sway bars on my sport compact.

 

I just bought these for $28 each. I wanted the Wab Fab ones, but couldn't swing the money.

Are you serious? My 4Runner swayed like a boat without the front sway bar. You should DEFINITELY notice the difference.

And you do know that even going 1mm thicker increases the stiffness exponentially, right?

 

I have the Wab Fab ones and like them. I recommend you order from Wab Fab.

 

Thanks for all the input! I never noticed both were broke, the test will be when the new ones go on and I deliberately look for improvement. My gut tells me I wont notice but I will replace them anyhow.
