Question absorber in rear view mirror ?????

Any one know of a shock absorber thats in the rear view mirror mount ?? How does it install ? I took my mirror mount apart and found nothing ?????

It looks like some sort of, hunk of foam that will absorb some vibration ??? I have a Toyota part # for it.

i meant like yotas up north? my mirror has a whole bunch of broken metal inside it... i need a foamy squishy thing

Both of my rigs have those on there. I didn't even know what it was for until I read this. It goes between the mirror mount and the windshield.

I've had several phone calls over the years in which folks think that NM (New Mexico) stands for North Maine. I also get the occasional compliment on how well I speak english..... and (this is the kicker) we've had issues with overseas shipping companies that refuse to ship to us because we're not part of the USA.

There's Old Mexico and then there's us, you bring some beer when you invade and I'll provide the enchiladas.
