Question about lifting and new tires

I want to put 305/75R16 tires on my Prerunner. What lift should I get for this? Can I clear with 3"? Thank you.

I'm sure that the 305's will not fit at all.

I know with a 3" suspension lift you can fit 32" comfortably.

I'm not certain that you can fit 33's though w/ the 3" lift.

I know some tacoma owners who have 33's with 3" lift but they rub substantially. I believe all of them have trimmed the sides down so the tires don't rub as much.

If you want to fit 35's, expect to do a 3" suspension lift and a 2-3" body lift and lots of trimming.

hope this helps!

If you want some more details on tacoma stuff check out the www.tacomaterritory.com board as they know their tacoma stuff like mad!

I'm pretty sure Ace was running 35's on is rig...but I can't remember how much lift (suspension & body) that he was running. Maybe a search for him and his rig will reveal that info.....

305/75/16's are 34's...you'd need approximately 3 inch of suspension and 2inch of body.

There are quire a few guys that run 35's with 3 suspension and 3 body, but they say they rubb off-road...
