22re help, hard to start, runs great once started, codes 8 and 27

Well I have a 1987 4runner with a 22re. Engine was rebuilt 5k ago with new head etc. About 6 months ago I had to phurchase a new afm and adjust the tps. Just today it started to be extremly difficult to start. If i really work on it wihte the gas all the way down and can get it to start eventually and if i rev it up for a second before letting off it runs and idles just fine. I have been gettign an average of 18mpg with no drop lately. Plugs look good cap and rotor also arer good. When i just the ports under the hood im getting a code 8and 27. Any help would be apreciated.

Code 8:
8 or 24
INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR SIGNAL
OPEN OR SHORT IN INTAKE AIR TEMP. SIGNAL
INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE CIRCUIT
INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Code 27:
27
SUB-OXYGEN SENSOR CIRCUIT OR SUB-OXYGEN SENSOR HEATER CIRCUIT
SUB OXYGEN SENSOR/HEATER/CIRCUIT
ECU

After sitting and cooling off for awhile it starts easier but still not like it should when running at idle it seems to miss a little.
