#2 is the EGR temp sensor. I have the same plug that connects to nothing, as I apparently don't have that type of EGR.

I think #2 if it is a short one then it goes to the egr gas temp sensor, this is found on the intake on the back near the firewall (this is found on cali models, and from what I see its cali spec). YOu can just start looking for a missing male end of the plug near the intake or if its real long then all around the engine bay and tranny on the passenger side.

As for your #1 that is one ugly and dirty coupler, its a fuel line Im thinking, since it is leaking fluid. To fix this problem I suggest taking it off and cleaning up the threads with a thread cleaner. I think Teflon tape might melt so idk what to dress it with.

This is just a poke in the dark cause I don't have a book with me and I don't feel like looking. I also don't feel like learning all the names to parts and the numbers cause I don't work for Toyota or work with other people on Toyotas.

yeah #1 is where the rubber fuel line connects to the metal fuel line going back to the tank and bringing fuel up to the motor via that rubber line running to the filter on the side of the block, if I'm not mistaken. If it's leaking, I'd say just try tightening it; you might get lucky and not have to even pull it apart


#2 is the EGR temp sensor plug-in as the guys have already mentioned. Yours appears to be bound and wrapped up from the factory, leading me to believe that there's no temp sensor on your EGR vavle; not all have them, I have the open plug too, it's normal

 

Thanks guys. Turns out that the coupler wasn't leaking (yet) but there was a drain hose kinda stuck to it. The drain must be from the AC. I was thinking of extending the hose down further so it doesn't cause anymore damage.

 

Yeah, that's the AC drain. Throw a little makeshift extension.
