Camshaft Alignment

Sorry to repeat a question that I have already asked in another thread, but I was not getting any replies.
My question is, if I set the crank at TDC/Compression, my camshaft alignment pin should be at 12 oclock, right?

There should be marks on the cam gear as well as the chain. I believe it will be about noonish.
