Post Tacoma 4cyl - V6 rear axel swap?

I got a wrecked 99 tacoma 4cylinder and I need to know if the rear end will fit in a 99 tacoma V6 both 5speed. my v6 has a locker and i dont need that so i want to put the rear end out of the 4cylinder in it if i can.

but none of it is good i filped it down the interstate in the middle of a storm then it sat at the wreck yard in the rain for 3 days till i got out of the hosp. so no good

So is the "locker" the factory locker.. If so the 3rd members aren't interchangeable.
The whole axle is doable though..

Willing to part with a piece of trim behind the cruise control switch? I can get a pic for you if you need..

Front diff gearing will not be the same.

Rear axle (everything) can be swapped, rear diffs cannot.

yes the detroit third will work in your new truck, but as stated above the front and rear gear ratio's are prolly not the same
