Hello everyone im new to this forum,and this is my 1st 4x4 purchase i got from my neighbor for 1300, any good starting pointers for it? motor is stock 4 cyl carb i think it has a 2 inch lift shocks are worn what type and size do i get,let me know ^^

 

Looks pretty sweet already. Take good care of it!
A good local auto parts store, or 4x4 outfitter will fix you right up in the shock-department. Make sure to compensate if there has been some lift added to the truck. Love to see some more angles/pix. Looks like a custom paint scheme too. I'm jealous.

 

yes thank you , my neighbor bought it from the dealer in 1987,so im the 2nd owner,his wife is very upset ^^/ he painted the truck 7 yrs ago, it has 154k miles ,and i just replaced the carb with a remanufactured one from holly,runs great also passed smog no problem with a 3 chamber flowmaster turn down nice finish i think he color sanded it after clear coat,ghost flames ,ill post more angles later
